Participants can be placed on hold by the Judge and will be informed of this hold, and when it is removed by the system.
When a Participant is on Hold, the Participant cannot hear the Court and cannot speak. Only the Judge or the Judge's clerk can put a Participant on Hold or take a Participant off Hold.
When a Participant rejoins the call, the Participant's line remains muted. Either the Judge or the Participant must unmute the Participant’s line by clicking the unmute button on the Hearing Dashboard.
