For lawyers and participants, registration and reservations are free. Once you dial into a call, the cost is a flat fee of $70. Whether the call lasts 10 minutes or 10 hours, the cost is $70 per reservation per judge per day. If the hearing is adjourned for a break and you rejoin the call later that day, there is no additional charge to rejoin the call. If the hearing is continued to another day, lawyers and participants will need to re-register and the $70 fee will apply again when you dial in.
If you don't show up for your hearing, you don't pay the fee. The Judge will have you listed as having having made a reservation, but you are not charged.
You may notice that there is a $70 charge on your card after you make a reservation but before the hearing or after a hearing you do not show up for. When you make a reservation, we place an authorization hold on your card. If you don't join the call, you are not charged. Several days later the hold on your credit card is removed automatically.
